Meet Mark Sauer

1. How long have you been with our company? Since around 1990.

2. What is your title and role at Canadian Energy? Branch Owner.

3. What’s the best thing about coming to work every day? ​I have great staff and I really enjoy meeting new people (customers).

4. What’s the one piece of advice you’d give to someone who is just getting started with our Company? Make sure you wear a back brace. Do you everything you can to support your colleagues and customers well-being. The rest will take care of itself.

5. What’s the reason you’ve stayed with CE so long? I kind of had to…I own four locations. LOL.

6. What is your motto or personal mantra? Wake up every morning with a smile on your face and remain positive.

7. What is your favourite movie? The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

8. Who is your favourite band or singer? The Eagles.

9. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see star as you? Yul Brynner Haha – Since he’s dead I have to go with Tom Cruise.

10. If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and why? Winston Churchill…he remained steadfast and unflappable under impossible odds.

11. If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Chili and Cream Corn.

12. If it could help with your job, what superpower would you like to have? The power to fly.
